Adobe Lightroom has three versions; Lightroom and Lightroom CC which run on laptops and Lightroom Mobile for IPads. They are similar but not exactly the same so take care when following instructions designed for one version on another.

Presents are your saved edit commands. That’s it. There is nothing complicated or exotic about them. They are useful when you’re editing a batch of pictures so you don’t have to edit each one (or at least not starting from scratch.

These are the steps;

Open and edit a photo

Tap the three dots icon (…) in the upper right hand corner

Tap create preset

Type a name into the name box

Tap the check mark

The preset is created

To use a preset

Open the picture you want to edit

Tap the filter icon, the two overlapping circles right under the three dot

Tap the preset you just created (or any one of them)

Tap done
